And the science bowl is over ... all science topics I guess. Eric and I are covered for bio since we just recently took the AP bio exam, Joris has chemistry down as well as the easy math, I'm still studying chemistry, and I can study APES to prep for earth science.

I /think/ Eric is covering energy, and if you went with us you could probably cover physics since you're taking the class.
It's in late february/early march I believe.

So um, you have buttons, and you have to answer science questions and stuff. There is someone who says a question (it's MC... the only reason we got passed round one ROFL. Eric was so good at guessing. He would say a random letter and he'd be right like 90% of the time lolol) and if you know the answer, you press the button, the question-asked acknowledges you, you answer the question, and if it's right you get points, if you get it wrong they don't deduct though.

We failed last year LOL, but it was so fun because we got to go to Dions during the break and we had fun at Dions. xD

Have you ever tried learning Chinese? The characters are a pain to learn, but the grammar is so easy that a three year old could have no problem learning how to SPEAK (key word there, notice I didn't say write or read heeheee) Chinese fluently. Seriously. You don't even need to change the verbs.

Like the verb "to want"
In Korean it's so complex and askdfl; hate it. Same with Japanese, except Japanese has even more obscure ways of "conjugating" verbs if that is even the write word.
For spanish:
Yo quiero, tu quieres, el/ella/usted quiere, nosotros querimos, vosotros quereis, ellos/ellas/ustedes quieren... and that's for present tense. There is present subjunctive, past subjunctive, imperfect, preterite, command, asdfklasdfk;asdfasdfs etcetc. /brain asplosion.

And for Chinese:
我去，你去，他去，她去，我的妈妈去。。。。 我们去，我要去， 我去了。。。。YOU DON'T EVEN DO ANYTHING WITH THE VERB IT'S IN THE INFINITIVE ALL THE TIME, even for past. All you do is put a 了 at the end of the sentence and it's in past.
Seriously, if English was like Chinese grammar-wise, I'd get an 800 on SAT writing without even breaking a sweat harhar.

Japanese grammar is tough. I haven't taken Japanese, but Korean and japanese are like sister languages.
ANd that's awesome. Could I possibly borrow it when you're not reading it sometime? xD

And I can't procrastinate like I did last year. I take 11 APs this year (ugh I wish I just took more in freshman and soph year rofl) and I have like, one every week for two weeks. i'm not going to open my APES book though, since I take the makeup and would much rather cram for that.

EXACTLY. That's why I like Japanese more than Chinese.
I love Chinese grammar though unlike Spanish which is a pain because of the millions of tenses and noun genders and asdfklasdf;l.

Japanese not so much. Well, the chinese characters in Japanese look gorgeous but I don't really like some hiragana and katakana.
